Africa-Press – Angola. The National Directorate of the State Budget (DNOE), of the Ministry of Finance, released, this Monday, a note in which it guides the managers of the State budget units to advance payment of the salary of August until the 17th of that month.
This orientation is due to the fact that the DNOE has to carry out a maintenance action on the State’s Integrated Financial Management System (SIGFE), in order to improve its performance, from 26 to 30 August.
Also according to the DNOE document of the Ministry of Finance, this position also follows the constraints verified in the operationalization of the system during the salary processing period. Thus, the salary processing for the month of August will be anticipated, according to the adopted calendar and scrupulous compliance.
The same salary processing calendar of August 2022 has, at first, the payroll phase, whose start date is now July 17 and the final date of movement goes until August 5.
As for the next moment, which is processing, it takes place on August 8th. This is followed by the correction phase, which lasts from 9 to 16 August, during which the information processed is also accepted, and up to 17, as stipulated, when the effective payment takes place in public units and the state business sector.
Economist Augustio Fernandes, called upon to comment on this position, explained that, as a general rule, the salary schedule/calendar has started on the 15th of each month and the last phase, which is the payment, takes place from the 20th to the 30th of each month.
