Africa-Press – Angola. Wiliete de Benguela won sunday, the local Sporting, by 3 – 1, in a match for the 12th round of the 1st division national championship (Girabola 2022/23), played at Estádio Municipal de Benguela.
In a match that began with a slight delay due to the non-payment of the refereeing team in advance, the two teams started facing the attack, with greater ascendancy for Wiliete, who scored the first goal in the 13th minute, through Ningui, who took advantage of a lack of attention between a defender and goalkeeper Manelito, from Sporting.
The current runners-up from Girabola extended the result with a double by Ningui, in the 19th minute, which prevailed until the break.
In the restart, the Sporting coach dismissed Tavares, who gave way to Dani, in the 45th minute, and in the 53rd minute Sporting reduced the score through Álvaro.
To change the course of events, the Benguela lions brought on Slimani and Chimito, to replace Betinho and Gaúcho, in the 64th and 67th minutes, respectively, which did not bring anything new, as Wiliete continued to dominate the jpgp.
Silvestre Pelé fielded Bebucho and Apado, replacing Gildo and Sukuia, in the 58th minute. At 69, 70 and 80 minutes, Sozito, Aisson and Naigel gave their places to Panilson, Enoque and Olavo.
In the 76th minute, central defender Kibeixa, in a shot outside the area, fixed the final result at 3 – 1.
The coach of Sporting de Benguela, Osvaldo Roque “Jony”, said he did not understand his team’s apathy and congratulated the opponent.
Wiliete’s assistant coach, Quim Manuel, said that his team was aware of the difficulties they would encounter, as Sporting had not won for four games.
With this result, Wiliete has 30 points, in second place in Girabola, while Sporting de Benguela remains in 14th place, with nine points.
