Africa-Press – Angola. The former MPLA deputy, Monteiro Pinto Capunga, died early this Saturday, in Lisbon (Portugal), due to illness.

Monteiro Pinto Capunga was born in 1961 in the municipality of Marimba, province of Malanje, and was the owner of the MIAMOP business group.

He was a deputy to the National Assembly and a member of the Central Committee of the MPLA. Until his death he was a member of the Provincial Committee of the Party in Malanje.
