Africa-Press – Angola. Four corpses, one male and three female, were found last Monday, inside a 20-foot container, in the locality of Culango, municipality of Lobito (Benguela).

The information was provided, this Tuesday, by the spokesman for the Provincial Command of the National Police in Benguela, superintendent Ernesto Tchiwale, adding that he was a 68-year-old citizen, a 32-year-old lady and two children under two and five years old, respectively.

According to the person in charge, the container was found inside a farm, sealed with a padlock and reinforced with several wires, a fact that presumably caused their death by suffocation.

The spokesperson said that the crime was suspected to have been motivated by passion, since the deceased woman had an extramarital affair with the 68-year-old victim, the guard of the farm where the crime took place.

” The lady lived with her husband in Bocoio, the father of the two deceased children, and traveled regularly to Lobito on business. During this period, she had a love affair with a first lover, in Lobito. lover, the farm guard. There are strong indications that one of the partners, out of revenge, may be involved in this crime”, he said.

Ernesto Tchiwale made it known that an investigative work is underway to clarify the crime, for subsequent judicial accountability of the person(s) involved.

On the other hand, the spokesperson informed that the operators of the Criminal Illicits dismantled a group composed of five criminals, with ages between 17 and 25 years old, considered dangerous. He dedicated himself to the practice of several robberies in homes and on public roads, especially in the peripheral neighborhoods of Lobito, specifically in Santa Cruz and São João.

He also said that another citizen, aged 18, was detained by the PN in possession of a firearm, with which he threatened colleagues at school and committed robberies on public roads, and was already present to the public prosecutor.
