Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, dismissed, for convenience of service, Gildo Matias José, from the post of Secretary of State for Secondary Education.
Gildo Matias was dismissed from the position to which he had been appointed in 2020, after occupying the position of deputy coordinator of the Technical Unit for Programming, Monitoring and Evaluation.
Soraya Teresa de Jesus Mateus Kalongela is the new Secretary of State for Secondary Education, thus replacing Gildo Matias José, according to a statement from the Press Service of the President of the Republic.
The new Secretary of State, appointed by João Lourenço, is an Education sector official, having worked at the National Directorate of Pre-School Education and Primary Education.
