Africa-Press – Angola. Sporting de Cabinda’s head coach, Abel da Conceição, promised this Wednesday a more determined, dynamic and strong team in the second round of the first division National Football Championship (Girabola’2023/24).
Speaking to the press at the end of the game to adjust the calendar for the 14th round in which his team drew (1-1) against Académica do Lobito, the coach reassured the fans assuring that better days will come in terms of sporting results.
For the coach, his team had little productivity, especially in attack throughout the first round, a situation that will be improved in the next games.
“For the next challenge we will try to enter the field with a different posture and dynamic, as we will have more solutions in attack, with the addition of other athletes”, he added.
For his part, the goalkeeping coach of Académica do Lobito, António Seabra, said that the objective was achieved by managing to collect a point at the opponent’s home ground.
“The team only managed to play better in the second half, after we spoke with the athletes, which is why they managed to score the equalizer and we missed a move at the end of the game that would have dictated the result”, he concluded.
