Africa-Press – Angola. The governor of Cuanza-Norte province highlighted, in Ndalatando, the importance of continuous training and rejuvenation of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA), with a view to fulfilling the missions of defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country.
Pedro Makita, who witnessed the closing of the 10th course for specialists in Land Artillery and Anti-Air Defense, held in three months in Ndalatando, underlined that the three branches of the FAA constitute a solid combination of human, material and spiritual potential, forming a cohesive body to the size of an army that symbolizes unity and national reconciliation.
The official recommended to the 230 new soldiers the daily improvement in the handling of technical and technological means, bearing in mind the dynamics of today’s world.
Lieutenant General António José de Sousa Queiróz said, during the act, that the training aims to maintain combat readiness in military units to respond to any attempts to destabilize order.
He drew the attention of newly formed specialists to prioritize the normative principles of the military class, based on hierarchy, discipline, loyalty and obedience.
The official understands that this is the only way to maintain the inviolability of the Angolan territory and the maintenance of national sovereignty.
