Africa-Press – Angola. The provincial governor of Cuanza-Norte, João Diogo Gaspar, asked the new members of the local government on Monday (27) for more commitment, selflessness and dedication towards the development of the province.

The government official who made such statements during the inauguration ceremony of eight new directors of provincial offices appointed this month, emphasized that serving the citizen is a noble and honorable task, but one that requires immense responsibility.

He clarified that the dismissal and appointment of staff aims to adjust to the challenges expected from the various public sectors for the region’s continued progress.

He warned that any member of staff who does not correspond to the objectives for which he was appointed may be dismissed the following day after taking office.

As part of the Government’s rotation strategy, the directors of the Provincial Offices of Records and Administrative Modernization, Transport, Traffic and Urban Mobility, Integrated Economic Development, Infrastructure and Technical Services were sworn in, namely Ariel Soares, Jetro Tiago, Domingos Cinco and Adérito Domingos.

The directors of the Provincial Offices of Social Action, Family and Gender Equality, Laurinda Elisa, of Culture and Tourism, Pedo Chiangalala and of Youth and Sports, Silvia Luquene, as well as the director of the Legal Office of the Provincial Government, Tomé Francisco, also took office.
