Africa-Press – Angola. The minister of Public Administration, Labor and Social Security, Teresa Rodrigues Dias, reiterated on Wednesday (08), in Luanda, the government’s commitment to expanding and modernizing SIACs (Integrated Citizen Service), vocational training and employment promotion centers.

Speaking to the press after laying the foundation stone for the construction of the Kilamba SIAC subunit, Teresa Rodrigues Dias said that the Executive has outlined a set of initiatives to ensure these actions.

The minister stated that the goal is to install SIAC units in all 21 provinces of the country, to ensure closer, way modern and efficient public services.

“We are building infrastructure that not only brings the State closer to its citizens, but also represents a direct investment in youth, in skills development, and in improving living conditions,” she stated.

In turn, the vice governor of Luanda for Political and Social Affairs, Manuel António Gonçalves, said that the construction represents an important step towards reducing distances and facilitating the population’s access to public services and vocational training.

The groundbreaking of the Kilamba SIAC and the Ramiros Vocational Training Center marks a new cycle of modernization and social inclusion in Luanda, reinforcing the Executive’s commitment to administrative innovation and sustainable human development.

Currently, SIAC has 16 sub-units, spread across 12 provinces, providing over 5 thousand services to citizens daily.

Kilamba was chosen to host this new sub-unit due to its estimated population of over 800,000 inhabitants who face daily logistical and bureaucratic challenges to access essential public services.
