Africa-Press – Angola. Huíla already has 60 products registered with the “Made in Angola” seal since 2021, most of them food, informed the provincial director of the National Institute for Support to Small and Medium Enterprises (INAPEM), Julieta de Oliveira.

These are various products from 20 companies that adhere to the label assigned by the Ministry of Planning, as part of the Executive’s strategies to stimulate national production and reduce imports.

Speaking today, Tuesday, Julieta de Oliveira made it known that the seal has a considerable following and at the moment the INAPEM platform has 20 companies registered.

Among the products, he highlighted honey, mineral water, beef, pork, vegetables, tubers, cornmeal, poultry feed, yogurt, cheese, seasonings, soft drinks, teas, sweet orange wine, homemade pork chorizo ​​and of chicken.

The lot includes peeled and pulped tomatoes, fruit in syrup, ornamental plants, industrial carpentry for the manufacture of office, kitchen and dining room furniture, various clothing, accessories and service provision.

Currently, according to the director, there are 15 pending companies registered, waiting for consolidation to adhere to the seal, and are in the final stage of accreditation.

“We are receiving many requests and supporting the formalization of their businesses, so that they can have the company created and thus help them in the process of adhering to the seal”, he said.

According to Julieta Oliveira, companies that adhere to the Made in Angola seal have the benefits of access and registration on the digital platforms of the “Made in Angola” service, priority for INAPEM services with different conditions in training sessions.

Mobilization has also been carried out in promotion events, inclusion in campaigns to promote the service and in communication actions carried out by the seal’s ambassadors, through INAPEM.
