Africa-Press – Angola. The members of the Consultative Council of the Interior Delegation in the province of Huambo in Huambo were trained, this week, on matters of team management, conflict resolution and leadership, to provide better public service.

The training session, which ended this Friday, served to adopt the framework of knowledge and conflict management skills and know how to be a good leader to serve well.

In brief statements, the director of Human Resources of the Interior Delegation in the province of Huambo, Marcelino Uandi Chingila, said that the training aimed to empower members in matters of leadership and conflict resolution.

In turn, the director of the Integrated Public Security Center (CISP) in Huambo, chief superintendent José Filipe, said that the initiative made it possible to provide new tools in conflict management, so that staff know how the leader should act impartially, to keep the group he leads intact.

He said that military organizations must always have refresher training, to improve the quality of service provision to the groups they serve, as they expect good management, mainly in conflict resolution.

Speaking to the press, the National Police commander in the municipality of Huambo, chief superintendent António Manuel Katuta, said he had acquired new subjects related to day-to-day life, in addition to having reinforced his knowledge to better provide services, both to military groups, either to the public.

He highlighted that the knowledge acquired will help to elevate the spirit of leadership and affect, both from a human and technical point of view, to avoid incidents during performance.

Likewise, the commander of the National Police in the municipality of Londuimbali, chief superintendent Benedito Quintas, highlighted the importance of training, as it will help in daily work to achieve good results in the provision of public services.

He mentioned that these were very important matters that will be transmitted to the municipality’s staff.

Opened last Monday, the training was attended by the commander of the Civil Protection and Fire Service, the directors of Technical and Instrumental support of the Interior Delegation, delegates and municipal commanders.
