JFNLA focuses on revitalizing base structures

Africa-Press – Angola. The secretary of the JFNLA in the province of Huambo, Jaime Cacande, expressed Sunday, the need to change the FNLA’s political paradigm, with a focus on party revitalization in the digital era, to achieve greater support from the population.

The official was speaking at the preparatory assembly for the election of 10 delegates from the province of Huambo to the III National Congress of the FNLA youth organization, taking place from the 9th to the 12th of January, in Luanda.

On the occasion, he said that the organization needs to have greater visibility in communities, by carrying out philanthropic acts and supporting local government actions, supporting local government, through the promotion of social programs, with the inclusion of new technologies in party activities.

Jaime Cacande said that party members are cohesive and are working in this effort to change the current political paradigm, so that it is possible to face electoral challenges, as well as placing the FNLA on the party stage with greater prominence in this region.

He said that the idea is to make JFNLA more present in communities, through various social actions.

On the other hand, the representative of the FNLA preparatory commission, Laurindo Gil Chocolamuenho, said that with this congress the organization will revitalize the base structures at national level and in the diaspora, so that they are more compact and committed to the cause of the historic Angolan party .

In this event, 301 JFNLA delegates from the country’s 18 provinces will participate, with the purpose of electing the organization’s new leader.
