Africa-Press – Angola. JMPLA defends the implementation of more actions with a social impact and the strengthening of public policies in the municipalities of Moxico province, with a view to stimulating the socio-economic growth of these regions.

This idea was defended during a provincial conference promoted today, Wednesday, by the JMPLA secretariat, under the motto “The Impact of Social and Economic Programs in the Province of Moxico”.

The event is addressing several issues, including the implementation of the Kwenda and Valor Criança programs in the communities.

On the occasion, Mário Zango, one of the participating activists, suggested the creation of economic development poles at municipal level, to better explore the potential of each region, stimulating sustainable growth.

For Anastácia Manuel, there is a need to promote more incentives in the field of entrepreneurship, to empower local youth and leverage economic activity in the region.

“Moxico is very rich in honey, chana fish and other cereals that can serve as an impetus for the diversification of the local economy”, he recalled.

The entrepreneur Joaquina Macedo defended the improvement in the implementation of certain Executive programs, through the creation of channels to facilitate the dissemination of information, allowing a greater coverage of the population.

In turn, the secretary of the Department of Youth Associations and Entrepreneurship (DAJE) of JMPLA in Moxico, Hermani Miji, explained that the conference aimed to keep young people informed about the impact of economic actions and the Executive’s governance agenda.
