The Head of State, João Lourenço, spoke yesterday afternoon by telephone with President Evariste Ndayushimiye, of Burundi, within the scope of the coordination of the Luanda and Nairobi process regarding the prevailing security situation in the East of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
According to a press release from the Presidency of the Republic, the conversation between the two Heads of State focused on the need to implement the Luanda Communiqué, which calls for a ceasefire in eastern DRC.
