Africa-Press – Angola. The Head of State, João Lourenço, received the President of Namibia, Ndemupelila Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, this Friday at the Palácio Presencial da Cidade Alta, in Luanda. The President of Namibia has been in Luanda since Thursday, at the invitation of her counterpart João Lourenço, as part of the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries.
Oil and agriculture are essentially the areas at the heart of the mission that brought President Netumbo to Luanda.
Relations between Angola and Namibia, as independent states, were established after 18 September 1990.
Since then, the two countries have maintained solid and multifaceted cooperation, based on historical, geographical and cultural ties.
