Africa-Press – Angola. The Head of State, João Lourenço, left Luanda this Saturday afternoon for the capital of the United States of America, Washington DC, to participate in the coming days in the US-Africa summit, an initiative of President Joe Biden.

President João Lourenço’s mission in America will take place at different times during its four days, including a Business Round Table organized by the US Chamber of Commerce, a conference on global development issues promoted by Exim Bank and a Central Business Forum dedicated, essentially, to the future of trade relations and US investment in Africa, where President Joe Biden will speak.

Other notable moments of this presence of President João Lourenço in the North American capital are the participation in a dinner hosted by the President of the United States of America on Wednesday and the work meetings and audiences with businessmen and high finance and high figures of the American administration, as is the case with Antony Blinken, Secretary of State.
