Africa-Press – Angola. The Cop In Fight Club was crowned Sunday, champion of the unified judo provincials in the senior and cadet categories by teams, by winning the finals of both competitions, opened last Saturday.
In senior, the champion defeated Recreativo do Bom Pastor, second place, being in cadets won Academia Coga da Caála.
Along with the first two places, Clube de Judo Cop In Fight was also second in the Junior Provincial Championship, losing in the final against Desportivo da Educação do Huambo.
The three competitions, held at the Osvaldo Serra Van-Dúnem multipurpose pavilion, in the interior of the city of Huambo, with the participation of more than one hundred athletes from 20 gyms in the municipalities of Huambo and Caála, did not qualify for third place, as only two teams reached the final in each category.
The winning teams of each category will represent Huambo in the national championships of the same categories, which will be held soon in the province of Malanje.
The same events were also disputed by individuals, in the categories of under 48, 50, 55, 52, 57, 63, 66, 70, -73, 90, over 50, 55, 48, 66, 78, 100 , in both classes, and the winners of non-champion academies will also represent the province in the national championships.
The last edition was won by the TK judo academy in the municipality of Huambo.
