Africa-Press – Angola. The secretary general of the Revolutionary United Youth of Angola (JURA), Manuel da Costa Ekuikui, said this Sunday in Menongue (Cuando Cubango), that the organization will focus on mobilizing new militants, in order to enlarge the ranks of the party.
When intervening in a mass political act, the official referred that the mobilization work will be carried out door-to-door, urging, therefore, the commitment of the militants in this program.
“There is a need for JURA militants to be more united and dedicated in the party’s activities, observing the principles of peace, unity and citizenship, as UNITA intends to create a bridge for change, with a view to strengthening the Democratic State and the rule of law ”, he stressed.
On the occasion, the politician considered the work carried out by JURA in Cuando Cubango to be positive, encouraging, therefore, the militants to continue the activities in favor of the promotion of the organization.
Participating in the act, which took place at the party committee in the Tchivonde neighbourhood, on the outskirts of the city of Menongue, were the provincial secretary of UNITA, Joaquim Suvindo, members of the Angolan Women’s League (LIMA) and JURA, as well as militants and friends of broken.
