Africa-Press – Angola. The provincial secretary of the Revolutionary United Youth of Angola (JURA) in Cunene, Zacarias Pesse, defended, this Tuesday, greater investment in human intellectual capital.
Speaking at a press conference, he said that investment in human capital should constitute “the main priority for Cunene”, as it constitutes the basis of development.
Zacarias Pesse stressed that the preparation of human capital must be a high priority, through investments in social infrastructures.
To this end, he said that it was fundamental to build a university from scratch in this district, so that they could enjoy the fruits achieved in the past elections.
The leader congratulated the young people for the orderly, peaceful way in which they turned out to the polls in the elections of last August 24, as well as encouraged the activists and list delegates who were committed to the entire electoral process.
In our understanding, the political and ideological maturity of JURA, as a youth organization, expresses responsibility, cohesion and solidarity with Angola and Angolans.
He referred that over the 48 years, JURA has always highlighted the Angolan political panorama in the various areas of life and society such as the economic, social and cultural aspects where there is room for intervention.
Founded on October 28, 1974 in eastern Angola, JURA’s mission is to bring young people into the UNITA party and promote political and social actions in order to contribute to the country’s development.
