Africa-Press – Angola. The secretary of the Revolutionary United Youth of Angola (JURA) in Cuando Cubango, Cardoso Tchacussungama, defended, this Thursday, the strengthening of dialogue with the Executive, with a view to contributing to the resolution of the main problems that afflict this fringe of society .
Speaking at a press conference, which marked the opening of the patriotic days alluding to the anniversary of JURA, to be celebrated on the 18th of this month, the politician advocated the need for more dialogue between Government institutions and young people affiliated to various organizations, for the advancement of populations.
“It is JURA’s wish and not only to maintain an open and constructive dialogue with the provincial government structures about the reality of the projects in progress, for the benefit of this layer, in particular, and the population in general”, he said.
For this reason, he asked for greater speed in the conclusion of the works of the Integrated Plan of Intervention in Municipalities (PIIM), for the improvement of the quality of life of the inhabitants of the region.
On the other hand, he made it known that, during the patriotic days, which end on the 30th of this month, debates will be held on the main problems that afflict youth, blood donation campaigns, among other activities.
The Youth Revolutionary United of Angola was founded on July 18, 1974, by David Janotão, who was the first president of the youth organization of UNITA.
