In addition to these, according to the person responsible, the Municipal Electoral Commissions of Luanda, currently the province in the country with the greatest difficulties in having their own facilities, are in the same situation.
Speaking on the sidelines of the visit of the president of the National Electoral Commission (CNE), Manuel Pereira da Silva to Malanje, the spokesperson explained that in addition to the lack of money, the body is also facing other problems, but efforts have been made to overcome difficulties.
Along these lines, he explained that despite this, the National Electoral Commission delivered 182 vehicles and IT material in recent days to support the population census taking place this year in Angola.
Regarding the visit of the CNE president to Malanje, Lucas Quilundo said that it falls within the scope of exchange between central and local structures, after the 2022 election.
Upon his arrival, the president of the CNE met with the commissioners and employees of the Provincial Electoral Commission, having addressed internal issues aimed at improving its functioning, followed by the audience with the governor of Malanje, Marcos Nhunga.
