Africa-Press – Angola. A cultural afternoon, marked by the recitation of poetry, music, theater, trova, dance and exhibition of literary works, was held this Saturday in Saurimo (Lunda Sul).
The activity, promoted by the Lev ́Arte movement, in partnership with the company Conta Ludes and Elbro, featured renowned writers and the new generation and exhibitions of various national and foreign literary works and will be attended by members of the Government of Lunda Sul.
The coordinator of Lev’Arte in Lunda Sul, André Iânvua “Angolan”, said that the objective is to collect non-perishable goods, to support hundreds of children hospitalized in Lar 1 de Novembro.
He underlined that, in addition, it also aims to entertain the youth, rescue habits and customs through literature and other art disciplines, to encourage more people in artistic creativity.
He referred that activities of the kind will be carried out in other municipalities that make up the province of Lunda Sul, having appealed for the participation of young people in the same activity and for food support by businessmen based in the district.
The Lev ́Arte nucleus exists in Lunda Sul since 2014 and has more than 50 members. This is the organization’s first charitable activity.
