Africa-Press – Angola. A new Administration building for the municipality of Londuimbali was inaugurated this Thursday by the governor of Huambo province, Lotti Nolika, within the scope of the Integrated Municipal Intervention Plan (PIIM).

The infrastructure, built in 12 months, consists of an administrative area, offices, secretariat, protocol, waiting and meeting rooms, garages, parking, among other important areas, in an investment of 146 million, 489 thousand and 575 Kwanzas.

On the occasion, Governor Lotti Nolika said that local authorities have defined numerous priorities in favor of improving the population’s quality of life, with the improvement of working conditions for Londuimbali municipal administration staff, in order to resolve community problems. with more comfort.

The government official assured that improving the working conditions of Londuimbali Administration technicians will allow the provision of a quality service to citizens, as the project is part of the actions aimed at resolving the population’s concerns.

He said that the new facilities will be provided by 96 employees in decent conditions, at a time when the government is committed to improving public services in the 11 municipalities in this region of the Central Highlands of Angola.

The infrastructure was built in the space where the then commissariat was reduced to ruins in 1991, due to the armed conflict that devastated the country.

In this municipality, whose headquarters are 92 kilometers north of the city of Huambo, several PIIM works are underway, with emphasis on those at the Central level, such as the construction of municipal infrastructures and others with a social impact, which will contribute to the improvement quality of life for residents.

The municipality of Londuimbali, one of the 11 that make up the province of Huambo, has an estimated population of more than 181 thousand inhabitants, mostly peasants, and is potentially agricultural and touristic.
