Africa-Press – Angola. Avenida Dr. António Agostinho Neto, on Nova Marginal, is partially closed, due to preparations for the 2024 edition of Luanda carnival.
The ban, decreed by the Provincial Government of Luanda, will be in force from January 24th to February 9th.
According to a press release, the Kinanga-Hotel Baía lane will be completely closed, and traffic in both directions will be on the Baía-Kinanga side.
In the document, the government appeals to motorists for understanding and recommends more attention to traffic signs, depending on the new configuration of car circulation.
The new waterfront will host the 2024 edition of the carnival, taking place on the 10th, 11th and 12th of February, with the parade of the children’s classes, B and A, respectively.
