Africa-Press – Angola. More than five thousand Identity Cards (IDs) will be delivered to their users in the municipality of Luando, Bié province, as part of the campaign to issue and distribute this document, ongoing throughout the country.
The information was recently provided by the municipal administrator, Jacinto Estanislau Alberto, at the launch of the aforementioned campaign at local level.
On the occasion, the administrator highlighted that the program’s objective was to cover all citizens who do not have an ID card.
On the first day of the massive event, 500 tickets were delivered door-to-door.
Luando is a new ten that has risen to the category of municipality in this region of the center of the country, within the scope of the most recent Political-Administrative Division.
It has an estimated population of 8,173 inhabitants, the majority of whom are local, dedicated to the cultivation of corn, beans, cassava, various vegetables, citrus fruits and other products.
