Running until the 28th of this month, the event, which brings together agricultural producers, banks, and businesspeople from the restaurant, retail, and cultural sectors, aims to promote local production and attract investment to the agriculture, tourism, hospitality, and service sectors.

At the opening, Dundo’s municipal administrator, Agnaldo Cahilo, said that in addition to Dundo, exhibitors from the municipalities of Lóvua, Chitato, Mussungueque, and Luena (Moxico) will participate.

He added that over three thousand visitors are expected during the event. In turn, the Deputy Governor for Technical Services and Infrastructure, Domingos Dala, reiterated the local government’s commitment to continue implementing policies aimed at improving the business environment, with a view to attracting private investment, as part of the diversification of the economy.

He said that Lunda-Norte province has “great” agricultural, cultural, and tourism potential that requires private investment to transform it into wealth and generate jobs and tax revenue.
