Africa-Press – Angola. The Deputy Attorney General of the Republic and accompanying coordinator of the Northern Judicial Region, Neto Joaquim Neto, defended this Monday, in the city of Uíge, the improvement of working conditions for public prosecutors in the region.
The magistrate expressed this position to the press, during his visit to the premises where the Attorney General’s Office (PGR) works in Uíge , as part of his visit to Uíge province.
“We need our own installations, but while we don’t have them, we’ll work with those that exist”, said the person in charge.
As for the lack of magistrates in the local PGR, he said that there is a program that aims to increase the number of prosecutors, in the coming months, to guarantee better performance of the body’s activities.
During his stay in Uíge, the deputy attorney general of the Republic and accompanying coordinator of the North Judicial Region will hold meetings with the local governor, José Carvalho da Rocha, with the President judge of the Comarca of Uíge, magistrates, as well as visiting the Congo penitentiary establishment, the SIC, IGAE, There are also visits to the facilities of the PGR, the District Court of Negage, the Criminal Investigation Service (SIC), in the municipalities of Negage and Sanza-pombo.
