Africa-Press – Angola. The microcredit company Kixicrédito, has AKz 15 billion kwanzas available to finance micro, small and medium-sized entrepreneurs, the institution’s financial director, Vicente Vilão, said on Wednesday in Luanda.
Speaking to the press at the end of a meeting with journalists, the director recalled that within the institution’s 20 years of existence, over one million loans have been made available to a total of 500,000 customers.
He revealed that this year the finance company has granted over 40,000 loans.
Vicente Vilão added that, in the last five years, it has granted over 50 billion kwanzas to micro, small and medium-sized entrepreneurs across the country, and expects to reach over 100,000 customers in the coming years.
According to the official, with a market share equivalent to 58%, Kixicrédito is ready to continue supporting the national financial sector, strengthening financial literacy and helping entrepreneurs implement and develop their businesses.
Kixicrédito is the first microcredit society to be registered by the Central Bank of Angola in 2028. The company’s activity is based on granting loans to micro and small entrepreneurs with the aim of expanding their businesses, thereby improving the quality of life of their families.
