Africa-Press – Angola. The Minister of Youth and Sports, Rui Falcão, asked, this Sunday, the athletes of the National Futsal Team to participate in an exemplary way, in the World Championship, from September 14th to October 6th, in Uzbekistan.
Speaking to the press after Angola became African runner-up, with a 1-5 defeat to Morocco in the final, Rui Falcão defended work towards a worthy representation.
“Athletes must work to achieve one or two victories, which would be very good for national sport”, he stressed.
The minister considered the second position satisfactory, reiterating the importance of continuous work to win the title in the next edition.
He recognized the superiority of the African champion team in the end and believes that one of the ways to reach the level of their opponents is through hard work.
