Africa-Press – Angola. The Minister of Social Action, Family and Women’s Promotion, Ana Paula do Sacramento Neto, this Tuesday delivered two fishing boats to local cooperatives in the field, in Vila de Landana, Cacongo municipality.
The beneficiary cooperatives, made up of former soldiers, will be able to improve their way of life, create jobs and increase the catch of fish.
On the occasion, Ana Paula do Sacramento asked for organization, especially how to deal with the finances resulting from the fish, and monitoring by the local administration, in addition to the need for training of beneficiaries at INAPEM.
He also advised the members of the cooperative, the fishermen and, mainly, the masters of the vessels to pay greater attention to the mandatory use of navigation tools, such as the compass and other recommended fishing equipment, to allow safe navigability, without risks and , above all, to avoid violating the maritime borders of neighboring countries.
During her stay in Cabinda, the official visited the Satellite Center for the Propagation of Chicks, in the locality of São Vicente, Cabinda’s main municipality.
In this center, more than 24 thousand chicks are multiplied in the different growth categories, having already benefited 2,100 families. The goal is to reach three thousand families by the end of the year.
