Africa-Press – Angola. The Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Marcy Lopes, said this Tuesday in Luanda that planning actions are underway for the continuous improvement of the social and working conditions of employees in the sector.

The government official, who was speaking to the press at the end of the consultation meeting with workers in the sector, to assess concerns and the level of quality of services, said there was a willingness to urgently resolve issues involving infrastructure and which afflict employees. .

He highlighted that the actions of State bodies depend on public financing, defined by the General State Budget.

“We are doing everything possible to improve, repair and build new justice services, and, to this end, we continue to wait for financial availability from the State.” he said.

Marcy Lopes reported that similar meetings have already been held in the provinces of Cabinda, Bengo and Cuanza Sul, the aim of which is to address concerns, exchange lessons and inform what the executive intends to implement in this mandate.

Regarding the issue of health insurance raised by Ministry officials, he explained that it is an obligation of the provident fund.

The meeting was attended by officials from the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights and served to listen to the issues that affect the sector.
