Africa-Press – Angola. Three thousand 250 young people from the province of Uíge have benefited, since 2018, from free professional training in various courses, in an initiative of the Association of Young Volunteers Entrepreneurs of Computer Engineering (AJVEEIU) and the local Technological Centre.
Young people were trained in entrepreneurship, IT, decoration, human resource management, protocol, public relations and other areas.
Speaking to the press, the president of AJEEIU, Virgílio Cordeiro João, said that young people are ready for the job market, as well as being able to contribute to the development of the region.
He explained that, during the period in question, more than 100 activities were carried out, including lectures and technological events.
Founded on June 24, 2018, AJEEIU celebrates its fifth anniversary under the motto “Training men to better serve”.
In turn, the director of the Provincial Education Office of Uíge, Pasi Mafuta Nova, praised the initiative that focuses on the professional training of young people in the province of Uíge
At the event, the 250 young people who recently completed training in the various professional courses also received their certificates.
