Africa-Press – Angola. An MPLA delegation participates, from the 18th to the 26th of this month, in Johannesburg, South Africa, in a training of trainers in Political Education.
Prepared by the Education and Training Unit of the ANC, the training action has the support of the Swedish counterpart attached to the Olof Palme Foundation of the Social Democratic Party of Sweden.
Among the training objectives, the sharing of political education content and strategies between the sister parties, respectively, MPLA, ANC, FRELIMO and SWAPO stands out.
The MPLA delegation is headed by Maria Esperança Pires, member of the Political Bureau and Assistant Secretary General of the OMA. The caravan also includes the director of the Central Committee’s Studies Office, Manuel Figueiredo, division heads of different areas of the national headquarters, members of the OMA and JMPLA National Secretariat, the Executive Committees of the party’s Provincial Committees in Luanda and Benguela.
