Africa-Press – Angola. The secretary for Information and Propaganda of the Provincial Committee of the MPLA in Malanje, Ema Massunga, Thursday, challenged OMA to intensify actions to rescue ethical and moral values within families and beyond.
Speaking at the opening of the 5th Ordinary Meeting of OMA, the official stressed that the permanent concern with the rescue of moral values aims to encourage good practices and forge exemplary citizens committed to social progress, so the MPLA should focus its action on this matter.
On the other hand, he specified that the MPLA remains committed to improving the quality of life of families, through the creation of strategies aimed at circumventing the negative effects of the global economic crisis.
He also noted the party’s engagement in creating opportunities for each citizen to demonstrate their talent and, on their own merit, to prosper in any area of life.
Ema Massunga said she hoped that the V OMA Meeting would strengthen internal unity and cohesion, with a view to meeting the challenges that the party has set itself.
The 5th OMA Meeting aims to analyze the internal life of the organization and outline the plan of activities for the coming period.
