Africa-Press – Angola. Most of the actions that have been included in the project portfolio of the Government of Huíla, the main beneficiaries are young people, acknowledged, Saturday, in the municipality of Quipungo (120 kilometers east of the city of Lubango), the MPLA’s second provincial secretary.
José Arão Nataniel, who was speaking at the provincial opening ceremony for the 23rd of November to mark the 60th anniversary of the founding of the JMPLA, said that the Government’s current priority and concern is to improve the quality of life of the population, in general, and of the youth in particular. The politician exemplified that, similarly to what happens in the municipality of Quipungo, at the provincial level there are already many social infrastructures (health centers and posts, schools, public and residential electricity networks created) that are already benefiting the population and youth in particular.
“It is now possible to date at night on the streets of the municipal headquarters of Quipungo, with public lighting, and we can now walk with our shoes shined without getting dust when going to school, with the improvement of access roads”, he said, stressing that it is the example of development that is desired.He stressed that young people, affiliated with JMPLA, should be the cybernauts in the dissemination of positive actions and elevation of the Government’s actions.
The second secretary of the comrades’ party in Huíla defended the participation of youth in the actions and achievements, as well as the information must flow, because the actions aim to contribute to the increase of family income and the development of the country.
He said that those who are in the JMPLA have increased responsibilities for the preservation of peace, development and the improvement of the basic conditions of the populations.
“We know that there are still many tasks to be carried out, among which the promotion of training for entrepreneurship and self-employment among the youth”, he recalled. He stressed that the MPLA defends the promotion of future entrepreneurs among the youth, adding that in Within the youth there are many valences and skills that just need to be directed.
“The MPLA, too, defends the economic capacity of young people. Therefore, it designed several programs, among which the PREI and others that consist of financing projects aimed at agriculture”, he observed.
He stated that there are resources at the Angola Development Bank (BDA), where any young person who presents a convincing project, with interest subsidized by the Government, can benefit from financing for the setting up of his company, be it cattle, goats, swine and others.
JMPLA should also create study cycles for micro-project designs that can be financed: “Today we already have the BDA in the city of Lubango and we don’t need to go to Luanda to submit a project”.
He explained that, currently, the formalization of employment is simplified and the process is fast. “We cannot be distracted by demagogic policies, with lies and false promises. If we spend the day mourning and idly by, nothing will happen. Even if we pray a lot without doing anything, it will be like an individual fleeing the fury of the lion pray but you are standing still. The lion will devour you. You have to pray and run to escape”, he said.
José Arão Nataniel urged JMPLA to participate in the actions of municipal administrations, in the planting of trees for a healthy environment.
