Africa-Press – Angola. The first secretary of the MPLA in Lunda Sul, Daniel Neto, this Tuesday reaffirmed his party’s commitment to continue building social infrastructures, within the framework of the 2022/2027 Government programme.
At the end of visits as part of the Political and Patriotic Days to grassroots organizations in Saurimo’s suburban areas, Daniel Neto said that among the infrastructures are schools, health posts and the expansion of the electricity network.
He underlined that the MPLA, the party in power in Angola, is committed to “effective, inclusive and participatory” governance, relying on the knowledge of different sectors of society.
He stated that within the framework of the Integrated Plan for Intervention in Municipalities (PIIM), administrative buildings, police stations, residences for teachers and nurses, multi-sports pavilion and communication routes are being made available to the population.
On the occasion, he appealed to party leaders and militants in the region to work more in raising awareness and mobilizing the population, with a view to aggrandizing the party’s ranks.
As part of the Political and Patriotic Days, Daniel Neto visited MPLA grassroots organizations in the Sacombe, Candembe, Nzaji, Passa Bem, Camitundo, Nhama, Mulombe, Sambuquila, Txicumina, Manauto and Verde neighborhoods.
