The MPLA Provincial Committee in Cuanza Norte will continue to encourage the Executive to achieve the main aspirations of the Angolan people, for a more developed and inclusive Angola, said, this Saturday, in the village of Ngonguembo, the first secretary, Pedro Makita Julia.

Pedro Makita, who was speaking at the official launch of the Party’s Political Agenda for this year, indicated that the Provincial Committee will work, above all, on improving the supply of basic essential services to the population, with the reinforcement of the fight against corruption and impunity.

This year the party, according to the politician, will also bet on the rescue of society’s moral values ​​and on the fight against all forms and attempts of violence against women and children, for the promotion of harmony in families.

Pedro Makita informed that the MPLA in the province is committed to carrying out a set of actions aimed at rescuing the moral and civic values ​​of society, discouraging all forms of violence in the family, especially against women and children.

He called for the engagement of all militants in the dissemination of the MPLA Political Agenda for 2023, which prioritizes quality governance, with emphasis on controlling the execution of public expenditure, in favor of development and the population.

The MPLA’s political agenda for 2023 encompasses 10 strategic axes, focused on analyzing the party’s performance after the general elections, extracting the subjective lessons that allow for the adoption of corrective measures, promotion of a more developed, democratic and inclusive Angola, taking into account with a view to moralizing society, combating corruption and impunity.

In the instrument, which will support the Angolan Executive, the MPLA also proposes to stimulate and monitor the implementation of small-scale economic and social actions, but with a direct impact on improving the population’s life.

The axes also include bringing governance closer to the citizen, preserving the unity of action, with respect for the diversity of thought, as well as establishing and promoting policies that stimulate Angolan sentiment among Angolan communities abroad.

The MPLA’s Political Agenda also aims to deepen internal democracy in the party and in social organizations, emphasizing compliance with statutes and regulations and compliance with decisions taken by competent bodies and bodies.
