Africa-Press – Angola. Personnel and leaders from the MPLA, OMA and JMPLA participated in a two-day political training and education event, promoted by the party’s Provincial Committee in Moxico. The main objective of the training was to provide activists with theoretical and practical tools to strengthen their leadership and boost political and organizational work in the communities.

Speaking at the opening of the event, the MPLA’s second provincial secretary in Moxico, Bento Luembe Paulino, highlighted that, since its foundation, the party has always valued the political training of its activists, considering it essential for their integration into society and for strengthening the organization.“We are living in a crucial moment in which our party must invest heavily in training its members to respond to current and future challenges. The MPLA has always been guided by the principles of participatory democracy, a commitment to peace, stability and progress in Angola, based on the ideals of social participation, solidarity and well-being of the Angolan people,” stressed Bento Paulino.

The party leader stressed that the MPLA needs members who are attentive, dynamic and aware of its political and historical mission, capable of mobilizing and ideologically guiding communities. To this end, he said, it is essential to master the party’s ideological line, its strategic guidelines and its role as a governing party.

Bento Paulino also emphasized that the MPLA is a party with its own history, structure and identity, built daily with the effort and dedication of its members. In this sense, he argued that each member should be familiar with the party’s guiding documents and its operating mechanisms.
