MPLA wants wide publicity of the advantages of Cuando Cubango's political division

Africa-Press – Angola. The coordinator of the Monitoring Group of the MPLA Political Bureau to Cuando Cubango, Maricel Capama, defended Saturday, in Cuito Cuanavale, the need for wide dissemination and in national languages about the advantages of dividing this province into two, especially in punctual satisfaction of government action.

Maricel Capama, who was speaking at the end of the IV ordinary meeting of the provincial committee, highlighted the increase in the number of municipal administrations and greater ease of governance, a fact that should deserve increased attention from activists when disseminating the real advantages to communities.

On the occasion, Maricel Capama urged the provincial committee on the ongoing task of political mobilization and insertion of the MPLA in society, to strengthen its basic structures, taking into account the challenges of the present and the future.

Maricel Capama demanded that the party’s provincial committee rigorously monitor the literacy process underway in the province among the communities, so that the results of its implementation could ultimately be assessed.

In the end, the members defended the need for the government to continue expanding the Kwenda programs, the credit support program, the agrarian development support fund, the integrated rural trade development program and the informal economy reconversion program for all municipalities.

They recommend that the government reinforce support policies, with implements and agricultural contributions to promote agriculture, livestock and fishing, for families victims of rain and drought, with a view to enhancing their economic and social development.

They praised the Executive’s initiative in attributing cards to Former Combatants and Veterans of the Country and proposed the ongoing task of designing social protection for pensioners.
