Africa-Press – Angola. The multidisciplinary festival “Ntwala oh yeah”, an expression in Kikongo that means “Vanguard” in Portuguese, will take place on the next 2nd and 4th of June, in three different spaces, with the participation of Angolan and foreign artists, you know, this Monday.

The information was advanced, in a press conference, by the organizer of the event, the musician A´mosi Just A Label, who advanced as main purpose, “to give opportunity and space to emerging artists”.

The public, he said, for three days will have the opportunity to have access to visual arts, literature, music and “spoken word”, which will be exhibited at Fundação Arte e Cultura, Palácio de Ferro and União Nacional dos Artistas Plásticos (UNAP), local which will host the opening ceremony.

“Tickets are being sold at the event venues at 8,000 kwanzas for one day and 18,000 kwanzas for three days”, said the musician.

He explained that the festival will feature the participation of 20 artists from different artistic disciplines, including Dino Brandão, Henrique Sumbo, Mbalongo, Phedilson, Bona Scar, Halison Paixão, Kanda, Luala, Adão Zima, Olofe, Isolo, Du Camanga, Sirius , Custódio Fernando and Willy Ribeiro

A’ mosi Just A Label guaranteed that the platform is launched for artists to perform for forty minutes, “as if they were at a concert”.

The “Ntwala oh yeah” festival, which intends to expand its scope to other provinces in the country, has the support of Elinga Teatro and UNAP, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Provincial Government of Luanda and the German Institute.

A’ mosi Just A Label considers the festival a great challenge, as a curator, for artists and arts lovers, having insisted on working for culture and being available to receive support for “Ntwala oh yeah”.
