This appeal is expressed in the final communiqué of the Council’s meeting, held under the leadership of the President of the Republic and Commander-in-Chief of the Angolan Armed Forces, João Lourenço.

The Council’s meeting, which addressed, among other issues, the events that occurred last week in the country, particularly in Luanda, characterized by riots, vandalism, and the looting of public and private property.
