Africa-Press – Angola. The ombudsman, Florbela Araújo, travels this Monday (12) to the Kingdom of Belgium, where she will give a cycle of lectures on the defense of fundamental rights, freedoms and guarantees of Angolan citizens residing in that European country.
The Ombudsman responds to an invitation made by the Ambassador of the Republic of Angola to the Kingdom of Belgium, Mário de Azevedo Constantino, refers to a press release from that organization.
During her stay in the Kingdom of Belgium, Florbela Araújo will also strengthen relations between the countries’ ombudsman offices.
The Ombudsman is a public entity independent of the State, whose mission is to defend the rights, freedoms and guarantees of citizens, ensuring, through informal means, justice and the legality of the activity of the Public Administration.
