Africa-Press – Angola. A massive campaign to deliver around 6,930 identity cards issued in 2022, opened yesterday in the Panguila market, Bengo province.
Promoted by the provincial delegation of Justice and Human Rights, in coordination and supervision of the provincial archive of civil and criminal identification, the campaign will be carried out in two phases.
The first, from the 12th to the 14th of this month, at the Panguila market, and the second from the 19th to the 21st, at Largo 10 de Novembro, in Caxito.
The head of the Provincial Archive for Civil and Criminal Identification, Adão da Gama, informed that, of this number, 4,790 belong to the municipality of Dande and, in order to reverse the situation of the high number of abandoned tickets in the various identification posts in the province, it is being taken to the campaign.
Despite this, he said, the demand for services is huge, mainly from citizens from Luanda.
To minimize the situation, he said, the sector is simultaneously issuing new documents and a mass delivery campaign to sensitize communities that eventually did not carry out their survey.
