Africa-Press – Angola. A range of artistic and cultural activities, part of the national cultural agenda, called “Special 21 Years of Peace”, will take place, between this Saturday and Tuesday, at the Iron Palace, in Luanda.

According to a press note, the event aims to exalt the importance of conquering, preserving and consolidating Peace, using art and culture.

He refers that they are two true vehicles for transmitting attitudes and behaviors to promote tolerance and coexistence in difference, as fundamental premises for the materialization of the culture of Peace.

The program of activities foresees a handicraft fair with the participation of around 25 exhibitors from various disciplines, three areas of visual arts exhibition, including the exhibition of children’s drawings from the project “Um Sorriso de Criança”, an initiative of Radio LAC.

In addition to the exhibitions, it also includes dance exhibitions with groups Novatos da Ilha, Ballet Nacional Kalumekiku and Vidarte.

The music in Pocket Show format will be highlighted with presentations by the group Nguami Maka, Banda Ukãi and the Trio Melvi, Tina and Nelvina who will present proposals for lyrical singing “Entre Rosas”, points out the document.

Likewise, the agenda includes the exhibition of the show Njango da Ópera, under the direction of Professor Emanuel Mendes, which will mark the closing of the activities.

It is an initiative of the Directorate of Palácio de Ferro, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Isaías Trindade Foundation.
