Africa-Press – Angola. The National football team faces this Saturday the similar team from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), in a preparatory game for the African Cup of Nations (CAN’2023), taking place from January 13th to February 11th this year, in Côte de Ivoire.

The challenge is scheduled for 12 noon in Angola, in the city of Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), without the presence of striker Mabululo, who plays in Egypt.

The two teams, remember, played for the last time on October 17th last year at the Bonfim stadium, in Setúbal, Portugal, which ended in a draw (0-0), also in a friendly.

The Palancas Negras (official name of the national team) are in group D with Algeria, Burkina Faso and Mauritania.

The Congolese are part of series F with the likes of Morocco, Tanzania and Zambia. Congo won two CAN titles (1968 and 1974).
