Africa-Press – Angola. The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has already defined the pots for the CHAN 2024 draw, which will take place from 1 to 28 February in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
The teams are seeded according to the results obtained in the last three editions of CHAN in 2022, 2020 and 2018, according to Rádio Nacional.
The winners get 7 points, the finalists 5 points, the semi-finalists get 3 points. The teams that reach the quarter-finals get 2 points, and the teams eliminated in the group stage receive 1 point.
Here are the pots for the CHAN 2024 draw:
Pot 1: Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, the host countries, as well as Morocco and Senegal.
Pot 2: Guinea; Zambia; Madagascar; Rwanda and Sudan.
Pot 3: Mauritania; Niger; Congo; Angola; Burkina Faso; Nigeria; Central African Republic and DRC.
