Africa-Press – Angola. Football lovers from the municipality of Dande, province of Bengo, predict a victory for the National Team, this Saturday, against their counterpart from Namibia, by any result.
Speaking today, regarding the challenge, the head of the Cultural Action department of the Provincial Office of Culture, Tourism, Youth and Sports, Luís Caquenda, asked the Angolan players for reflection and serenity to achieve victory.
Journalist Alfredo Ferreira said he expected better posture and pressure from the athletes to convert all the opportunities created into goals.
He considered the Namibian formation difficult, but stressed that the important thing is to maintain a winning spirit, as happened in the last challenges.
Carlos Gomes, Petro de Luanda fan, said he believes in the national team’s capabilities, as the important thing is to maintain team spirit and determination.
Sebastião Pedro, from Primeiro de Agosto, advocates greater organization in defense, midfield and attack.
“You have to not underestimate your opponent, as they also want to go as far as possible,” he said.
The Angolan national team finished the group stage in first place, with seven points (Group D), the result of a draw and two victories, against Algeria (1-1), Mauritania (3-2) and Burkina Faso (2 -0).
