Africa-Press – Angola. On the 22nd of this month, the Plenary of the National Assembly will discuss and vote, in general terms, on the Draft Law on the Statute of Former Presidents of the Republic.

The information was released this Friday by the first secretary of the Parliament, Manuel Lopes Dembo, at the end of the Conference of Presidents of the Parliamentary Groups, which defined the agenda of the 7th Ordinary Plenary Meeting of the AN.

The legislative initiative of the proposal in question aims to adapt the rights, duties and immunities of the former holders of the Executive Power and the respective singular auxiliary body in the exercise of the executive function.

The 7th Ordinary Plenary Meeting of the 1st Legislative Session of the V Legislature will also proceed to the final global vote on the Draft Law on the Labor Procedure Code.

The Plenary will also submit for discussion and voting on three Diplomas that authorize the President of the Republic, as Holder of Executive Power, to legislate on the amendment of the Tax Regime for the Concession of Blocks 30, 44 and 45.

The deputies will, on the other hand, discuss and vote, in general, on the Proposed Amendments to the Laws on the Statute of Journalists and on the Organic Law of the Regulatory Entity of the Media.

At the Ordinary Plenary meeting on the 22nd of this month, two Draft Resolutions will be submitted for discussion and voting on requests for authorization for the double, international adoption of minors Kiary André and Eduardo Suculenta.
