Africa-Press – Angola. The new Pedro Maria Tonha “Pedalé” Hospital Complex will be completed at the end of the first quarter of 2023. More than 50% of the work on the new establishment has been completed.
The health unit, which was visited today by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, is valued at around US$103 million, as the Minister of Health told the press today.
Located in the municipality of Talatona, in the Gamek area, on the right, the Pedro Maria Tonha “Pedalé” Hospital Complex is being built in an area of 32 thousand square meters. The works began in 2012, having been suspended at the end of 2016, for financial reasons, and resumed only in 2019.
The Hospital Complex has a robotic surgery center, hemodialysis center, oncology, imaging, pediatrics, physiotherapy services, including speech and hydrotherapy, among other services.
