Africa-Press – Angola. The coach of Petro de Luanda’s senior women’s handball team, Vivaldo Eduardo, promised Friday, in the country’s capital, improvements to the team, for success in the National Championship, scheduled for the province of Namibe.
Speaking to the press, after the defeat against 1o de Agosto, by 32-18, in the Luanda provincial final, the coach recognized that the team played poorly, which allowed the negative result.
“Today we didn’t play our best and 1o de Agosto managed this slip to win the championship. “We are going to recover this group well and win the National Championship. That, our supporters can wait”, said
In turn, the assistant coach of 1o de Agosto, José Ramon, admitted that his team is resurfacing, after the double defeat in African competitions. “The greatness of 1o de Agosto is that everyone saw playing at the highest level”, stressed.
